Paddling Basics

Canoe Kayak Nova Scotia is offering an opportunity for the whole family to paddle canoes and receive some basic instruction as required.  Those who have paddling skills may go for a paddle in the quiet cove.  All the paddling is closely supervised in a designated area.  Volunteers will be there on the day to assist and personal flotation devices will be on loan from the Red Cross.  Canoes and safety gear provided will also be made available, however, it is first come, first served.  Dress for weather conditions and bring footwear that can get wet.  Bring water, snacks, sunscreen, and insect repellent.  Meet at the boat launch.  Please note that you will be required to sign a waiver.  Contact Brian at (902) 673-2917 or email bmanderson67@gmail.com or visit www.ckns.ca.
