Visitor Notices: A new electronic entrance gate system is now in place. Campers will be charged a $3 deposit for the card. This charge will be refunded upon the return of the card when their camping stay is over. Please stop at the admin building when leaving to receive the $3 refund.

The Department of Natural Resources is redeveloping parts of the Graves Island Provincial Park. Sites 1 to 51 are being redeveloped to include new sites and upgrades to other sites. These sites are not available for camping until either very late in the 2013 season or next year. The official date has not been set for opening these sites. This decision will be made when construction is very near completion. Please check back periodically for updates.

Park Info: JGraves Islandoined to the mainland by a short causeway, the island is typical of many of the small islands found along Nova Scotia's Atlantic coast. This quiet ocean-side campground has long been a popular vacation spot for Nova Scotians and visitors alike.

The campground is an excellent base for outdoor adventures including ocean kayaking and biking along the South Shore as well as day tripping to the area's many attractions.

Facilities and Services
Graves Island offers an 84 site campground, walking trails, picnic area, swimming area and boat launch. The campground has water outlets and a trailer dump station.

WiFi is available at the admin building and surrounding area. Password required, please see the park receptionist.

Walk in Tenting Sites
The large walk-in tenting sites are located along an woodland roadway, a short walk (100 m) from the main parking lot. These sites offer a sense of remoteness in a convenient location.
